These are some things I got out of a truck load of books I bought at fridays auction. I bought a truck load of old 1800's and early 1900 books. There were also several boxes of different kinds of crafting books. since I don't do any of those my buddy Linda from Mish Mash will get them. I thought the Woodstock Book was great. It came out right after Woodstock 1969. One of the coolest books I found was The Southern Colonies. This book was written in 1860 and has maps and illustrations in it. I live history. There were about fifteen of those little speciality cook books that Peartree cottage likes. It was fun going through them. After I got through sorting I had a fifty five gallon barrel full I threw away and still had 11 big boxes left. You guys have a good week and remember to watch out for your Angel..................
Oh wow, I wish I could have been there to help you sort those out! I love old craft and cook books too, but have to stop collecting them, as I am accumulating sooooooooo much stuff, and we just don't have any more room to store it all!
Location: Oklahoma, Texas, Louisana, and Arkansas, United States
Kathy is the State Rep for Lousiana. Lela for Oklahoma and Marilyn is the State President of Texas. We do not have a Rep for Arkansas but would love to hear from AR members of AVVA. We all work for the betterment of Vietnam Veterans and their families. We are all married to Vietnam Vets and we have pretty much dedicated our lives to them . Texas is the only state in Region 7 that is incorperated and has officers but the rest of us are happy with the way our States are at the present. hopefully this blog will better give us an idea of what our region is doing chapter wise and state wide. We also look forward to working more closely with out counterparts the vietnam Veterans of America in our areas.Look us up we are on the WWW
